The Original Joe Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 8 slices white bread

→ Meats

02 - 1/2 pound sliced deli ham
03 - 1/2 pound sliced turkey breast
04 - 1/2 pound sliced roast beef
05 - 1/2 pound sliced salami

→ Toppings

06 - 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
07 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
08 - 1/4 cup Russian dressing or Thousand Island
09 - 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - 1/2 cup sliced Swiss or American cheese (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Lay out 4 bread slices and spread with mayonnaise.
02 - Layer ham, turkey, roast beef, and salami, adding lettuce and dressing between layers.
03 - Add optional cheese on top of final meat layer.
04 - Top with remaining bread slices spread with mayo. Press gently to compact.
05 - Let sit 30 minutes for flavors to meld. Cut into squares or rectangles.
