Pecan Pie Cobbler Dessert (Print Version)

Classic pecan pie flavors in a simple, layered cobbler. Sweet, nutty, and perfect for sharing.

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 6 eggs, whisked
02 - 1 cup brown sugar
03 - 1 cup white sugar
04 - ½ cup butter, melted
05 - 2 cups Karo syrup
06 - 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
07 - 2 cups chopped pecans
08 - 1 cup pecan halves

→ Crust

09 - 1 package Pillsbury pie crust (contains 2 crusts)

→ Other

10 - Non-stick cooking spray

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine whisked eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and Karo syrup. Add the chopped pecans and mix well.
03 - Spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place one pie crust at the bottom of the dish.
04 - Pour 90% of the pecan mixture into the prepared dish over the crust. Place the second crust on top, then pour the remaining pecan mixture over it. Arrange pecan halves on the top layer.
05 - Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is thoroughly cooked.
06 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with a scoop of ice cream on top.

01 - This dish yields approximately the same amount as two traditional pecan pies.
