Marbled Red Velvet Brownies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Red Velvet Layer

01 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 tablespoon red food coloring
06 - 1 teaspoon white vinegar
07 - 1/4 cup cocoa powder
08 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
09 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Cheesecake Swirl

10 - 8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened
11 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
12 - 1 large egg
13 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 8x8-inch pan with parchment or spray with non-stick spray.
02 - Whisk butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, food coloring, and vinegar. Sift in cocoa, flour, and salt. Reserve 1/4 cup batter.
03 - Beat cream cheese with sugar until creamy. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth.
04 - Pour red velvet batter in pan. Top with cream cheese mixture. Swirl layers together. Add dollops of reserved batter and swirl again.
05 - Bake 25-30 minutes until center is set and toothpick has few moist crumbs. Cool completely before cutting.
