Heat oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground sausage. Brown the sausage, breaking it into small pieces. Stir in minced garlic, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1 minute. Drain excess fat if needed and set aside.

On a clean surface lightly dusted with flour, roll out pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick.

Arrange provolone slices evenly over the dough, leaving a 1 cm border along the edges. Place mozzarella slices evenly over the provolone.

Distribute the cooked sausage evenly on top of the cheeses.

Starting on a long edge, roll the dough into a log, tucking in the sides as you roll. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the top of the dough with beaten egg. Sprinkle the remaining 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning over the surface.

Transfer to oven and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
