01 - 1 prepared pizza dough
02 - Flour, for dusting the work surface

03 - 450 grams ground sausage
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 5 to 6 slices provolone cheese
07 - 5 to 6 slices mozzarella cheese
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
09 - 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning, plus 1 teaspoon for topping

10 - 1 egg, beaten

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat oven to 175°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground sausage. Brown the sausage, breaking it into small pieces. Stir in minced garlic, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 1 minute. Drain excess fat if needed and set aside.
03 - On a clean surface lightly dusted with flour, roll out pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1 cm thick.
04 - Arrange provolone slices evenly over the dough, leaving a 1 cm border along the edges. Place mozzarella slices evenly over the provolone.
05 - Distribute the cooked sausage evenly on top of the cheeses.
06 - Starting on a long edge, roll the dough into a log, tucking in the sides as you roll. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
07 - Brush the top of the dough with beaten egg. Sprinkle the remaining 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning over the surface.
08 - Transfer to oven and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
09 - Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
