Use butter on the insides of the muffins and toast them on a hot pan until golden. Put them aside for now.

On medium heat, fry the sausages in the pan until they're cooked through and browned, about 3–4 minutes per side. Remove and keep them aside.

Put a greased ring mold or mason jar lid on the pan. Crack one egg into it. Let it cook for around 2–3 minutes, or until the whites are set and yolks are how you like them.

Start with the bottom muffin half, lay a slice of cheese on it, stack a sausage patty, place the cooked egg on top, then close with the other muffin half.

Enjoy them right away or wrap them up to reheat later.
