Savory Mushroom and Sage Stuffing (Print Version)

01 - 1 loaf crusty bread, cubed
02 - 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
03 - 1 onion, chopped
04 - 2 celery stalks, chopped
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/2 cup vegetable broth
07 - 1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped
08 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
09 - Salt to taste
10 - Pepper to taste
11 - 4 tablespoons butter

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and celery, and sauté until softened.
03 - Stir in the garlic and mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender and golden.
04 - In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour in the vegetable broth gradually, mixing until the bread is moistened.
05 - Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy on top.
