# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
02 - 340 grams ground sweet or mild Italian sausage
03 - 450 grams pizza dough
04 - 1 tablespoon cornmeal, for dusting the pan
05 - 240 millilitres pizza sauce
06 - 200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 230°C. Position a rack in the centre.
02 - Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook, breaking it into bite-sized pieces, until browned, about 5–6 minutes. Drain any rendered fat and set the sausage aside.
03 - Grease a 33x23 cm sheet pan with the remaining olive oil, ensuring complete coverage. Evenly sprinkle cornmeal over the base to prevent sticking.
04 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough. Gently stretch it to fit the prepared pan, allowing the dough to rest for 5 minutes if it resists.
05 - Spread pizza sauce evenly over the stretched dough, leaving a narrow border along the edges. Distribute half of the shredded mozzarella over the sauce, then sprinkle the cooked sausage evenly. Finish with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
06 - Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden and the crust is cooked through.
07 - Remove pan from oven and allow pizza to cool for 5 minutes. Slice and serve warm.
