# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
02 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
03 - 1 jar marinara sauce (32 oz)
04 - 1½ cups beef broth
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
07 - ½ teaspoon salt
08 - ½ teaspoon pepper
09 - 8 oz lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
10 - 1 cup ricotta cheese
11 - 1 teaspoon salt
12 - ½ teaspoon pepper
13 - 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
14 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
15 - Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef (or sausage) and 2 teaspoons of minced garlic. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spoon, until browned and fragrant (about 5 minutes).
02 - Stir in the marinara sauce, 1 cup beef broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
03 - Add the broken lasagna noodles to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the sauce. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 20-25 minutes until the noodles are tender and cooked through. Stir occasionally, and add more beef broth if you feel it's getting dry.
04 - While the noodles are cooking, season the ricotta cheese with salt and pepper.
05 - Once the noodles are tender, drop spoonfuls of ricotta over the lasagna and spread around. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.
06 - Cover the skillet again and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve hot.
