Place the brioche buns on a baking sheet. Generously spread garlic butter on the cut sides.

Pour in the marinara sauce and basil pesto. Toss in some salt and pepper, and stir it all together.

Throw diced yellow onion into the pan and cook until the chicken is browned and the onions are tender.
