Steak Bites with Garlic Butter (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender pieces of steak seared in garlic butter for a delicious meal ready in only 20 minutes.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, diced into 1-inch pieces
02 - Salt, as desired
03 - Black pepper, as desired

→ For Searing and Sauce

04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, split
06 - 4 cloves garlic, chopped
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced

# How to Make It:

01 - Cut the sirloin into equal 1-inch cubes. Generously add salt and ground black pepper for seasoning.
02 - Take the steak out of the fridge. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before you start cooking.
03 - In a thick skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. When the skillet's hot, add half the steak pieces in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd. Sear for around 2 minutes without touching them, then flip and sear for another 2 minutes for medium doneness. Move the seared steak to a plate and repeat with the other half.
04 - Lower the heat to medium-low. Add the rest of the butter and the chopped garlic into the skillet. Stir continuously for 1 to 2 minutes until the garlic's fragrant and turns lightly golden, but don't let it burn.
05 - Put the steak and any juices back into the pan. Toss everything in the garlic butter sauce until it's well coated. Serve hot, with the chopped parsley on top.

# Extra Information:

01 - Avoid overcooking the steak bits to keep them tender and juicy.
02 - A cast iron pan works best for good heat retention and a great sear.
