Strawberry Chocolate Rice Krispies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base layers

01 - 6 cups Rice Krispies
02 - 60 Marshmallows
03 - 4 ½ tablespoons Butter
04 - ¼ cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
05 - 1 package Freeze Dried Strawberries
06 - Red Food Coloring, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Grease an 8x8-inch square pan with butter.
02 - Place 1 ½ tablespoons of butter and 20 marshmallows in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat while stirring until fully melted. Add the chocolate chips and stir until melted and fully incorporated. Fold in two cups of Rice Krispies until coated, then press the mixture into the prepared pan using buttered hands or a spatula.
03 - In a clean pan, melt another 20 marshmallows and 1 ½ tablespoons of butter over medium heat while stirring until completely melted. Remove from heat, add 2 cups of Rice Krispies, and mix until coated. Press this layer on top of the chocolate layer firmly and evenly.
04 - Process freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor until finely ground. In a clean pan, melt the remaining 20 marshmallows and 1 ½ tablespoons of butter over medium heat, stirring until melted. Stir in the ground strawberries and red food coloring, if desired. Add the final 2 cups of Rice Krispies and mix until coated. Press this layer on top of the vanilla layer evenly.
05 - Allow the treat layers to cool completely, then cut into 9 squares. Store leftovers in an airtight container.

# Notes:

01 - Use freeze-dried strawberry powder to save time.
02 - Decorate with freeze-dried strawberries or chocolate melts.
03 - Add vanilla extract and sea salt for extra flavor depth.
