Homemade Strawberry Lemonade Drink (Print Version)

A chilled blend of ripe strawberries and fresh lemon juice for the ultimate summer refreshment.

# Ingredients:

→ Lemonade

01 - 6 cups water
02 - 1 1/2 cups lemon juice (approximately 8-10 lemons)
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar or alternative sweetener

→ Strawberry Mixture

04 - 12 oz strawberries, quartered
05 - 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
06 - 4 mint leaves (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of water with granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves fully. Remove from heat and let cool.
02 - Cut the lemons in half and extract the juice using a juicer or hand squeezer. Ensure no seeds remain in the juice.
03 - In a pitcher, mix the remaining 5 cups of water with the cooled simple syrup and lemon juice. Stir well and adjust sweetness or tartness as required.
04 - Wash, hull, and quarter the strawberries. Add them to a blender with mint leaves and sugar, then blend until smooth.
05 - Place a strainer over a bowl or pour directly into the pitcher to strain the purée, removing solids.
06 - In the pitcher, mix the strained strawberry purée with the lemonade base until fully combined.
07 - Add ice cubes, additional mint leaves, and slices of lemon or strawberries to the pitcher. Stir lightly and serve chilled.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - For a more vibrant flavor, allow the lemonade to chill for an hour before serving.
