Strawberry Margarita Pie (Print Version)

Sweet strawberries, lime, and tequila combined in a frozen dessert for a refreshing treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 2 cups crushed gluten-free pretzel crumbs
02 - 1 stick butter, melted
03 - 1 tablespoon sugar

→ Filling

04 - 16 ounces cream cheese
05 - ⅓ cup key lime juice
06 - 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
07 - 3 strawberries, diced
08 - ¼ cup Blue Agave Tequila

→ Garnish

09 - 6 strawberries, sliced
10 - 2 limes, thinly sliced
11 - Tiny mint leaves

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pulse pretzels in a blender until crumbly. Add melted butter to the pretzel crumbs and mix well.
02 - Pour the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a pie plate or dish. Press firmly into the sides and bottom with your hands. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, then remove from oven and cool completely.
03 - Using a mixer, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add lime juice and beat until smooth. Mix in the sweetened condensed milk and diced strawberries. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
04 - Stir in tequila and mix until fully combined.
05 - Pour the filling into the cooled crust. Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
06 - Remove the pie from the freezer and let it thaw for 10 minutes. Garnish with sliced strawberries, limes, and mint leaves before serving.
