Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Turkeys (Print-Friendly Version)

Clever pumpkin pie turkeys make Thanksgiving dessert extra festive and fun for guests of all ages.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 store-bought pumpkin pie (approximately 1.05 kg)
02 - 7 mini Reese's peanut butter cups
03 - 14 candy eyes
04 - 7 orange Reese's Pieces candies
05 - 35 pieces of candy corn
06 - 15 g chocolate chips, melted

# How to Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - Using a round cutter deeper than the pie, cut 7 circles from the pumpkin pie. Place the cut pie circles onto the prepared baking sheet.
03 - Unwrap the mini Reese's cups and set aside. Lay out pairs of candy eyes for assembly.
04 - Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or on a paper plate to use as edible adhesive.
05 - Dip the back of each candy eye into the melted chocolate and affix them to the mini Reese's cups to form pairs of eyes on each cup.
06 - Trim one side of each orange Reese's Pieces candy to create a flat surface. Coat the flat side with melted chocolate and position it centered beneath the eyes.
07 - Place each assembled turkey face on the lower third of each pumpkin pie circle.
08 - Fan out 5 pieces of candy corn above each turkey face and gently press them into each pumpkin pie circle to resemble feathers.

# Extra Information:

01 - For best results, ensure the pumpkin pie is well-chilled before cutting into circles to achieve clean edges.
