Classic Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 1 cup plain yogurt
03 - 2 tablespoons garlic and ginger paste
04 - 2 tablespoons cooking oil (vegetable or coconut)
05 - 1 can (14 oz) whole peeled tomatoes
06 - 1 cup heavy cream

07 - Garam masala
08 - Ground cumin
09 - Coriander powder
10 - Turmeric
11 - Red chili powder
12 - Salt to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Mix yogurt, garlic ginger paste, and spices in a bowl. Add chicken, mix well, and marinate for at least one hour or overnight.
02 - Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté marinated chicken until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
03 - Add tomatoes and remaining spices. Cook until tomatoes break down, about 5 minutes.
04 - Stir in heavy cream, simmer 10 minutes. Return chicken to skillet, simmer 5 more minutes.
