Cherry Peach Sparkling Slush (Print Version)

A chilled fusion of cherries, peaches, and lemon, layered with sparkling water for a refreshing frozen sip.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup frozen cherries
02 - 1 cup frozen peaches
03 - 2 tablespoons simple syrup
04 - 2 cups sparkling water
05 - 2 cups crushed ice
06 - Juice of half a lemon

# Steps:

01 - Remove the pit from the cherries. Add the cherries, 1 tablespoon of simple syrup, 1 cup of sparkling water, half of the lemon juice, and 1 cup of crushed ice to a blender. Blend until smooth and set aside in a bowl.
02 - Add the frozen peaches, 1 tablespoon of simple syrup, the remaining half of the lemon juice, 1 cup of sparkling water, and 1 cup of crushed ice to the blender. Blend until smooth and set aside in another bowl.
03 - Place the two bowls in the freezer for 30 to 60 minutes. When the mixtures begin to freeze, scrape them using a fork. Repeat this process one or two more times, freezing for an additional 30 to 60 minutes between scrapes.
04 - Layer the cherry and peach slushie mixtures in a glass. Serve immediately.
