Cinnamon Roll-Ups Stick (Print-Friendly Version)

Cinnamon roll-ups made over a campfire with a sweet glaze or icing to finish.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 can of refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough

→ Filling

02 - 60 ml granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon cinnamon, ground
04 - 1 tablespoon melted butter

→ Optional Topping

05 - Icing or glaze—store-bought or homemade, for drizzling

→ Equipment

06 - Skewers or sticks safe for fire

# How to Make It:

01 - Carefully take rolls off the skewers. Drizzle with icing or glaze if you want and serve them warm.
02 - In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon until it’s well combined.
03 - Lay out the crescent or pizza dough flat on a clean surface, creating a rectangle shape.
04 - Hold the skewers over the glowing embers. Make sure to avoid direct flames and keep turning them for about 5 to 7 minutes until they're golden all over.
05 - Carefully slide each rolled strip onto a skewer, giving them some space in between so they roast evenly.
06 - Slice the dough into even strips, then roll each strip tightly from end to end. You can cut them into smaller pieces if you want.
07 - Lightly brush the top of the dough with melted butter, making sure it’s even.
08 - Evenly spread the cinnamon sugar mix over the buttered dough.

# Extra Information:

01 - For the best outcome, opt for thick pizza dough for heartier rolls. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
