Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (Print-Friendly Version)

Decadent chocolate and creamy peanut butter combine for an easy, addictive dessert you can make at home.

# Ingredients You'll Need:

→ Chocolate Layer

01 - 312 g milk chocolate chips
02 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil

→ Peanut Butter Filling

03 - 240 g creamy peanut butter
04 - 180 g powdered sugar
05 - 28 g unsalted butter, softened
06 - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of sea salt

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Blend with an electric mixer until smooth and thick. Set aside.
02 - In a separate microwave-safe bowl, add milk chocolate chips. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Add vegetable oil; continue microwaving in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring between each interval, until chocolate is fully melted and silky smooth.
03 - Spoon approximately 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into the bottom of each silicone mold, filling about one-third full.
04 - Spoon a similar amount of the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate. Use your fingers to gently press and level the filling in each mold.
05 - Add another layer of melted chocolate on top of the peanut butter mixture, ensuring it is fully covered and the mold is filled to the top.
06 - Transfer the filled molds to the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight, until fully set.
07 - Once fully set, carefully remove the peanut butter cups from the molds. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

# Extra Information:

01 - For best results, allow the chocolate to cool slightly before unmolding to prevent breaking. Use high-quality chocolate for a glossier finish.
