Crispy Instant Pot Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tbsp cornstarch
03 - 2 tsp garlic powder
04 - 1 tsp onion powder
05 - 2 tsp paprika
06 - 1/2 tsp salt
07 - 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Cut the chicken breasts into 1/2-inch wide strips, then slice them horizontally, about 1/2 inch apart, to make the chicken cubes.
02 - Combine cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and ground black pepper in a bowl. Toss the chicken cubes into the mixture until evenly coated.
03 - Place the air fryer basket inside the Instant Pot Duo Crisp. Arrange the seasoned chicken bites inside the basket.
04 - Put the air fryer lid on the Instant Pot and set the temperature to 400°F for 10 minutes.
05 - When the Instant Pot displays 'Turn Food,' open the lid and turn the chicken bites for even cooking. Close the lid and finish the initial cooking cycle.
06 - Stir the chicken bites and cook for another 10 minutes at 400°F. Open the lid and turn the chicken bites when the Instant Pot displays 'Turn Food' midway through this cycle.

# Notes:

01 - The trick to cutting chicken breasts easily is using frozen chicken and a sharp knife. Slice chicken bites evenly for consistent cooking.
02 - Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer before serving. The USDA recommends 165°F for cooked poultry.
03 - You can also pan-fry these chicken bites in canola oil for a crispy texture.
