Protein Donuts Soft Fluffy (Print Version)

Soft donuts packed with chocolate and protein for a wholesome treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 3/4 cup flour (90g)
02 - 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder (30g)
03 - 2 tbsp cocoa powder (10g)
04 - 1 tsp baking powder
05 - 1/4 tsp salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 1/2 cup peanut butter or any nut or seed butter (120g)
07 - 1/3 cup water (80g)
08 - 1/4 cup yogurt or mashed banana (60g)
09 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup or honey (60g)

→ Optional Toppings

10 - Toppings, as desired (frosting or additional ingredients)

# Steps:

01 - Grease a donut pan or a mini muffin pan for donut holes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
03 - Stir in the peanut butter, water, yogurt or mashed banana, and maple syrup or honey to form a smooth batter.
04 - Smooth the batter evenly into the prepared donut pan or muffin pan.
05 - Bake for 8 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a donut comes out mostly clean.
06 - Let the donuts fully cool, then carefully run a knife around the edges before removing them from the pan. Add frosting or toppings as desired, and enjoy.
