Southern Style Peach Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup melted butter
02 - ½ cup brown sugar
03 - ½ cup white sugar
04 - 1 cup self-rising flour
05 - 2 16-ounce cans sliced peaches (one drained, one undrained)
06 - 1 cup whole milk
07 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - Ground cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Add the butter to a 7x11-inch baking dish and place it in the oven until the butter is melted.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine the self-rising flour, brown sugar, white sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the mixture is smooth with no lumps.
03 - Pour the batter into the baking dish with the melted butter. Do not stir. Add one drained can of peaches and one undrained can of peaches on top. Avoid mixing.
04 - Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the top. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dough is fully cooked.
05 - Allow the cobbler to cool for 10-15 minutes. Serve warm, optionally with a side of vanilla ice cream.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - Upon removal from the oven, the cobbler may appear watery. Allowing it to cool will result in a firmer texture.
