Tater Tot Pizza Bake (Print Version)

Golden-crispy tater tot pizza bake layered with gooey cheese & pepperoni, put together in less than 40 minutes.

# Ingredients:

01 - Frozen tater tots (32 oz bag)
02 - Pasta sauce (24 oz jar)
03 - Mozzarella cheese, shredded (2 cups)
04 - Pepperoni, small bag
05 - Grated parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and coat a 9x13 inch baking dish lightly with oil or spray.
02 - Spoon a thin amount of sauce across the bottom of the dish. Lay down 1/3 of the pepperoni slices.
03 - Put in half the tater tots, spread half of the leftover sauce, sprinkle half the mozzarella, and add another 1/3 of the pepperoni.
04 - Repeat the process, finishing with the remaining pepperoni on top. Sprinkle on parmesan cheese if you like.
05 - Wrap the dish with foil and bake in the oven for 20 minutes on the middle rack.
06 - Take off the foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the tots are crisp and the pepperoni edges are browned.
07 - Give it about 5 minutes to cool before serving. You can pair it with ranch, parsley, red pepper flakes, or Italian spices if you'd like.

# Notes and Tips:

01 - It’s better to use tomato-based pasta sauce over pizza sauce—it’s usually cheaper and comes in larger jars.
02 - Feel free to toss in extras like sausage, mushrooms, spinach, or bell peppers if that’s more your style.
